Today's Inspiring Thought: Take Refuge in the Lord

Recently, I went through a trial in which I felt as though the foundation of my world was being shaken and the bottom could fall out at any moment. I found there was only one thing I could do: take refuge in the Lord, as the first part of this passage suggests.

If we firmly grasp hold of God's hand, quietly, gently, and patiently he will lead us through the wind, rain, and storms of life.

It was very affirming to do the Bible Verse for today and then come and read these meditations and find readings on the same topic. In all times of worry and anxiety, God is my refuge and strength.
