All That We Could Think Of
 

Before any of us will be able to subscribe to the kind of life that's found here in recovery all of us will have tried everything else all that we can think of first as the means by which we all try to live our life by, none of which works for any of us and is the very reason we all end up being here in recovery. Even though we all go through with this before any of us get here many of us will continue to still do this after we are here in recovery and believe it or not it's okay that we do because it's by this process that we all find out just how much we really need recovery when everything else has failed us then and only then will we even consider such nonsense like recovery for ourselves. The trick in all of this for all of us is to continue doing this for as long as it takes any one of us and that's different for all of us and to not beat ourselves up in the process which is something we're all pretty good at but only serves to exasperate the whole thing. If there was an easier way for all of us we all would have found it by now, and for some of us this will take us a long time even though were in recovery, and for others it won't, but what's more important than how long it may take each of us to go through with this is not to give up on ourselves while we are knowing that this is what we all have to do first before any of us will get to what's left after there's nothing else that we can think of to do.
