E is for Easy Does It.

One of AA's great slogans. A good one to follow.

F is for Forgiveness. Forgive yourself. Forgive others. We need to do it for our own recovery.

G is for Get

Get plenty of restful sleep. ZZZZ! It is important to not get too tired. Getting a good night of sleep is one of the ways we take care of ourselves in our sobriety journey.

M is for Moment. Live in the moment, be in the now. Enjoy every moment. Make the most of every moment. Don't spoil your today by living in the past or projecting into the future.

Many have complained about being bored during the time of this pandemic, but I still feel there are not enough hours in a day. I have since the day I came into recovery. I use to use to make time disappear. So grateful I don't have to do that any more.

MajestyJo 07-12-2020 12:36 PM

M is for More. More of the good things in life. More healthy choices and decisions. More connection with my God through meditation. I can change that more of my addiction into something positive.

N is for Necessity. Look to see what is important in your life. First things first is always our recovery and our sobriety .

Noththing can come between us and our God. It becomes our God of the day and we are back in our disease.

N is for Never.

Never give up. Keep trying. President Abraham Lincoln tried for the Presidency 13 times. He persevered. Moses and God's people wandered in the desert for 40 years. Had they given up, I shrudder to think. The Wright Brothers tried to fly a plane and failed several times before they gained success. Life is full of failures that become successes by preserverence. Never give up. Keep the faith and walk the good walk.

Sorry, didn't mean to step on your toes. It didn't show me your N until after I posted. Should I delete?
